When a batch of free agent auctions are posted, GMs will have until the specified ending time (usually 5:00 PM PST or 8:00 PM EST) to place a player bid. If two bids are tied, you may bid a second player as a tiebreaker (which a person can also tie themselves).
If two or more bids are tied at the end of an auction, the youngest player(s) will win. In the very rare occurrence that all tied players are born on the same day and year, the player with the highest poise rating will win the auction. Each bid must include the player’s full name, position, player type and rating. Any errors will make the bid invalid. If a bid is edited, it will also be deemed invalid.
You also cannot bid injured players in auctions. If you do, the bid will be invalid.
The final time to place a bid is 4:59 PM PST. Any bids at 5:00 PM onward will not count.
Remember you can bid Goalies on Skaters, And Skaters can be Bid on Goalies as well so it gives it more free reign and fun.
If you place a bid in an auction and then later trade the player you bidded, as a courtesy to your fellow GMs please delete your bid from the auction(s), to avoid any confusion.
During the final hour before the auctions' conclusion (usually 7:00 EST/4:00 PST onward), you may not retract a bid after it has been made (unless it is tied with another one, in which case you can). If you try and delete your bid, you will get caught (rest assured, EVERYTHING is trackable in the security log) and be severely punished. If you wish to bid a different player of the same overall, you may retract a player to do that (for example, you bid a 78 OFD on someone, you want to bid a 78 DFD instead, you can retract the 78 OFD bid and make that bid).
